SpectronRx has a great opportunity for an Environmental Monitoring Specialist. You will be expected to perform the following responsibilities:
- Perform Environmental Monitoring as required
- Adhere to radiation standards and policies.
- Uphold general staff responsibilities for lab cleaning, supplies, and maintenance.
- Responsible for:
o Daily cleaning
o Trash removal of clean rooms
o If necessary, weekly sampling under supervision
- Pass initial and yearly gowning qualification.
- If necessary, participate in any environmental monitoring alerts.
- Performs special projects and other duties as assigned.
Qualified applicants will have:
· A High School degree is required.
· Minimum of 2 years of prior experience in pharmaceuticals, preferably in an environmental monitoring position preferred. Prior experience in a radiopharmaceutical environment is preferred.
· Excellent communication, analytical, computer/PC and technical writing skills.
· The ability to handle responsibilities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
· Great attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
· Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team.
· Ability to work a variety of schedules including evenings, holidays and weekends.

Education:
- Associate (Preferred)
Experience:
- Microbiology: 1 year (Preferred)
