COMPANY OVERVIEW
- SpectronRx is a growing Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) based in Indianapolis, Indiana, with additional locations currently in South Bend, IN and new locations planned for Bunker Hill, IN, Danbury, CT and a yet to be determined west coast site. We are seeking an experienced Senior Radiochemist to join our growing company. The Senior Radiochemist will perform all duties to check the quality of a Radiopharmaceutical product, raw material, finished and semi-finished product, environment and facilities.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Maintain, calibrate, and operate analytical equipment and instrumentation, HPLC, GC, etc.
- Perform all quality tests.
- Follow SOPs for QC release testing of Radiopharmaceutical product, raw material, finished and semi- finished product, environment, and facilities.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment in compliance with safety and pharmaceutical regulations.
- Follow the principles of ALARA in compliance with regulations.
- Assist with R&D qualification and validation activities.
- Experience with laboratory procedures and radiochemistry techniques.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- PhD degree in Chemistry or related field required.
- Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Read, analyze and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports and legal documents.
- Respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
- Experience in both lab and pharmaceutical manufacturing environments.
- Ability to train and be trained.
- Thorough understanding of project management.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Valid Indiana driver's license
- Pass a Background Check.
