Board Certified Behavior Analyst® (BCBA)
Classification: Salary Exempt

Status: Full Time

Reports To: Director of Clinical Services

Summary/Objective:

The BCBA works with the Director of Operations and Clinical Director to develop the team of RBTs and BT Therapists ability to provide a range of applied behavior analytic (ABA) assessment and clinical services for children and adolescents with Autism spectrum disorders and related developmental disabilities. The BCBA may also consult, attend client related meetings, provide training to caregivers, conduct behavioral evaluations of clients, and design behavior and individual support plans for clients. The BCBA is required to adhere to and promote adherence to the BACB’s Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts®. The BCBA maintains a weekly billable caseload of service hours as directed by the Director of Operations.

Essential Functions:

  • Supervises Cases with Appropriate frequency
  • Develops Client goals
  • Reviews data and Monitors client progress weekly
  • Behavioral approach to intervention
  • Makes Program Updates as needed
  • Creates appropriate data sheets
  • Provides Parent Training
  • Conducts developmental assessments
  • Conducts Monthly Team Meetings with all employee and parents present
  • Monitor Employee competencies
  • Seeks Supervision and Participates in Professional Development
  • Interactions with co-workers are professional and productive
  • Participates in professional meetings or conferences deemed to be beneficial program development
  • Adheres to the mission, vision and values of Spectrum ABA, LLC
  • Performs other duties of a BCBA as identified

Required Education and Experience:

  • A master's degree and educational coursework completed in the area of related field.
  • Certification from the BACB®
  • CPR/First Aid Certification
  • Clear criminal background and TB test
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of DTT, PECS, and other ABA strategies.
  • Positive attitude and ability to work within a team environment

Work Environment and Physical Demands:

  • Ability to stand and circulate for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to hear and understand speech at normal speech levels, in the English language.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Work fluctuates between a clinical, office and home environment.
  • Regular contact with parents, community members and outside agency personnel.
  • Hazards: Incumbent may be exposed to contact with individuals displaying physically aggressive, self-abusive, or socially undesirable behavior.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, hours will fluctuate based on workload and client schedule.
