Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Audio Visual Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, installation, and maintenance of audio-visual systems in various settings. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background and a passion for delivering high-quality audio and visual experiences.
5 years residential Audio, Video, Network, Control Integration experience required. 2-3 Trade References required.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement audio-visual systems based on project specifications and client needs.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot audio-visual equipment including projectors, sound systems, and video conferencing tools.
- Maintain and repair existing audio-visual systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements and provide technical support during events.
- Create schematics and documentation for installed systems to facilitate future maintenance.
- Utilize hand tools and low voltage equipment safely and effectively during installations.
- Conduct field service visits to address any issues or upgrades needed in client systems.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in audio-visual technology to recommend improvements.
Skills
- Proficient in reading and interpreting schematics related to audio-visual systems.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to work with low voltage electrical components.
- Experience in field service roles, demonstrating problem-solving skills in real-time scenarios.
- Familiarity with electrical systems and telecommunication technologies.
- Competence in handling computer hardware as it relates to audio-visual setups.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with clients and team members.
