We’re looking for a highly motivated recent or soon-to-be graduate to join our Sacramento team as an Account Executive. The ideal candidate is politically engaged, driven, and passionate about winning. WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Track and monitor relevant press, statewide initiatives, and legislation.
- Draft fact sheets, press releases, newsletters, and other materials.
- Research on political, policy, and stakeholder landscapes.
- Social media management and monitoring.
- Outreach to support coalition-building.
- Manage various aspects of our client portfolio and coordinate with subvendors.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
- Interest in politics and policy – particularly in California.
- Excellent writing skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
- Demonstrated leadership or project management experience (e.g. athletics, student government, clubs, internships).
- Bachelor’s degree in journalism, political science, public relations or related experience.
This full-time position is based in Sacramento. Salary range $50,000 - $70,000 with competitive benefits.
