About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as an Instructional Aide at Spectrum Center Schools and Programs. As an Instructional Aide, you will play a vital role in supporting the academic and personal growth of our students. You will work closely with classroom teachers to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to meet the unique needs of each student.
Key Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or higher in education or a related field preferred.
- Experience working with children, preferably in a special education program setting.
- Ability to think and act quickly and calmly in an emergency and make independent decisions.
- Proficiency in providing motivation and having critical conversations with students.
- Advanced oral and written communication, organization, conflict resolution, multitasking, problem-solving, and decision-making ability.
