About the Role
This Instructional Aide II position plays a critical role in supporting the academic and personal growth of our students. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for implementing individualized instruction and supervision, collaborating with supervisors to develop and implement IEPs and PBIPs, and participating in data collection and analysis processes.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide individualized instruction and supervision to assigned students, utilizing group and individual instruction in the classroom and community settings.
- Collaborate with core classroom staff to develop and implement IEPs and PBIPs, and assist in transition plans for integrating students back into public school placements or adult programs.
- Participate in data collection, recording, and maintenance processes, including collecting and maintaining data required by student programs, classroom records, and data computer systems.
- Assist in preparing behavioral reports and daily activities logs, and maintain confidentiality of student information and records at all times.
- Perform job coaching duties as assigned, assisting in the training of students in appropriate work behavior and specific employment skills.
Education and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in education or a related field.
- Currently hold or have the ability to obtain an 'Emergency 30 Day Sub Permit' within 90 days of starting employment.
- Valid CA state driver's license and willingness/ability to drive a company van and transport students within the community.
