Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced School Counselor to join our team at Spectrum Center Schools and Programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing academic support and guidance to students, collaborating with educators and parents, and developing individualized education plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide academic support and guidance to students individually and in groups.
- Collaborate with educators and parents to develop individualized education plans.
- Maintain regular contact with parents/guardians to inform them of their child's progress.
- Assist teachers in developing classroom schedules, maintaining student data systems, and facilitating student transition plans.
Requirements
A Master's degree in Educational Counseling or a related field is required. You must also meet state and district requirements for licensing or credentials. Prior experience in special education services and compliance is highly desirable.
