The Intermediate Business Analyst will support the Secretary of the Air Force Acquisition Excellence and Change Office (SAF/AQXC) and other Air Force acquisition activities.

The Intermediate Business Analyst will support the Secretary of the Air Force Acquisition Excellence and Change Office (SAF/AQXC) and other Air Force acquisition activities.
Job Responsibilities
- Serve as direct customer liaison who anticipates and manages customer’s evolving needs and provides a wide range of support in real time.
- Facilitate and document Rapid Improvement Events (RIE) and Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) events. Includes scoping meetings, problem definition and research meetings, face-to-face meetings, follow-up meetings and all associated documentation.
- Track Rapid Improvement Events across time for ROI, best practices and impacts to the acquisition process. Archive of historical efforts. Integrate results into strategic alignment, strategic communications, training and professional development of workforce.
- Conduct process alignment events across AQ/A4/AFMC/AFSPC and other organizations with Acquisition equity/impact. Provide facilitation, documentation, research, and analysis of alignment to strategic objectives, Key Process Indicators and processes.
- Develop and maintain working engagement with academia to identify and recommend emerging trends in CPI and to identify encouraging new techniques.
- Current and Active DOD Secret clearance
- 6 years of current relevant experience working at the Pentagon (or, at a minimum, similar DOD headquarters)
- Air Force Acquisition experience
- Knowledge of Air Force structure inter-dependencies and organizational inter-relationships
- Bachelor's degree
- U.S. citizenship
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills (specifically PowerPoint, Excel and Word)
- LEAN / SixSigma Black Belt level CPI certification
- Agile certification/experience
- Master's degree
