Spectrum is seeking a talented Senior Instructional Designer who can lead and develop instructional designers to provide professional and technical support for the planning, analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation for training courses in support of a US Navy client in Virginia Beach, VA.
Key Abilities And Responsibilities
- Act as the Spectrum’s Instructional Designer Lead and liaison, working closely with our client to ensure developed curricula products meet all requirements.
- Lead Spectrum’s Interactions with client instructional designers, training specialists, and subject matter experts to develop content and standards.
- Perform training and analyses to identify gaps or redundancies.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the instruction systems design process (planning, analyzing, designing, implementing, evaluation, and maintenance).
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the following: design and development of curriculum to support Instructor-Led Training (ILT) and Interactive Multimedia Instruction,
- Minimum 3 years’ experience with the US Navy Authoring Instructional Materials (AIM) software including the Learning Object Module (LOM) and Content Planning Module (CPM).
- Software Application Experience and Certification:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience using Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Excel, plus Advanced Microsoft certification.
- Intermediate Microsoft certification in Microsoft Project and Microsoft Visio.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience using Adobe Captivate in instructional design, plus Advanced certification in Adobe Captivate.
- Minimum of (1) year experience in Salesforce plus an Intermediate certification.
- Knowledge of NAVEDTRA 130 series documents, in order to comprehend the NETC Course Development and Revision End-to-End Process.
- Associates Degree in a related discipline with at least one (1) year of experience in a training development role; or High School Diploma or GED with at least five (5) years’ experience in a training development role.
- Possess, or be able to obtain a Secret level Clearance.
