Role Description
This is a part-time PRN on-site role for an Ultrasound Technologist at Spectrum Diagnostic Imaging Services LLC for coverage of sites in Central and Western PA. The Ultrasound Technologist will be responsible for conducting diagnostic ultrasound exams, maintaining equipment, and ensuring quality patient care during imaging procedures.
Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field.
- Certification from a recognized body, such as the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).
- Excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication with patients and healthcare teams.
- Strong attention to detail and critical thinking abilities for analyzing images and making assessments.
- Two years of post-secondary school experience required.
- Preference for multi-registered technologists.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct ultrasound examinations on patients, ensuring high-quality images are produced for accurate diagnosis.
- Prepare and maintain imaging equipment, verifying its proper functionality before procedures.
