What are the responsibilities and job description for the Optometrist position at Spectrum Eye Physicians?
Spectrum Eye Physicians has eight eye care clinics, with both medical eye doctors and doctors of optometry. We have nine medical doctors on staff. Our doctors of optometry handle all your everyday vision needs, from getting fit for contact lenses or new glasses to treating minor eye irritations like dry eye or conjunctivitis. Presently, we have seven doctors of optometry on staff.
Spectrum Eye Physicians is seeking a part-time optometrist (4 days per week) for our growing ophthalmology/optometry practice in Watsonville, CA. Candidates should be professional, friendly, energetic, caring and feel comfortable in a fast-paced environment working alongside ophthalmologists. Position requires proficient use of standard ophthalmic equipment in the performance of eye exams, contact lens fits, and necessary testing, and recommendations to our optical department, mostly under vision plans. Regular hours are 8-5, M-F, occasional Saturdays may be required. This position includes competitive pay and benefits in a fun and friendly environment.
