Spectrum Generations is a private, non-profit corporation with its home office in Augusta, Maine. The agency serves as a primary resource for information, guidance, education, social, financial, and homecare programs and services for seniors, disabled adults and caregiver residents of Kennebec, Knox, Lincoln, Sagadahoc, Somerset and Waldo Counties plus the communities of Brunswick and Harpswell.

The Nutrition Coordinator provides day-to-day coordination of the community center’s Nutrition Program, assessing eligibility for and delivering meals to homebound adults, providing leadership and guidance to volunteers, and ensuring proper data collection and storage.
This is a full time position based at the Muskie Center in Waterville and provides assistance in all areas of the Nutrition Program, coordinating enrollment and eligibility assessments for Meals on Wheels recipients and completing reporting forms on a regular and timely basis.
The ideal candidate will manage the Nutrition program as it relates to scheduling drivers on Meals on Wheels routes , coordinating with the Kitchen Operations Manager and managing communications between consumers, Agency employees and necessary state/local governments. They should have intermediate computer and data entry skills and will be responsible for assuring quality testing is completed on a regular basis. In addition, they will assist with the intake and ongoing training for volunteers working in the nutrition program and insure adherence to HIPPA rules.
- Education/Training/Experience:
- High School Graduate or G.E.D., with some post-secondary education preferred.
- 2 years nonprofit experience preferred
- Experience using Microsoft Office software required
- 2 years of non-profit work experience preferred
