Aurora Carefree Living is looking for a full-time Life Enrichment Assistant to join our growing and established Assisted Living community in Aurora, MN. We offer rewarding employment, resident-centered care, a team environment, and professional development with a dependable health care company.
SCHEDULE: Full-time hours available. Primarily daytime hours, with flexibility to meet the needs of our events.
POSITION SUMMARY: This position will assist in coordinating and conducting activities and program events. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Gathering social history from residents
- Develop and distribute the Life Enrichment Calendar, Newsletter and other communication notices such as event invitations
- Carry out activities in memory care and assisted living.
- Coordinate monthly birthday party and other special events
- Connecting residents with similar interests
- Encouraging participation of activities
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Candidates must be hardworking and dedicated to provide an exceptional customer service experience
- Ability to maintain excellent interpersonal and cooperative relationships with management, staff, residents and residents' family
- Candidates will be subject to a criminal background study
