Location: Jarratt, VA, Greensville Correctional Center operates a 4- month long Residential Illicit Drug Use Program providing substance use disorder services to males identified for treatment.
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:15 am – 4:15 pm with a 1-hour unpaid meal break.
Pay rate: $26.44/hr. ($55,000 annually) Candidates with a CSAC, CADC, or equivalent license/certification are eligible for a pay rate of $28.846/hr. ($60,000 annually).

Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Human Services field is required.
State certification as a Substance Abuse Counselor (CSAC) in the state of Virginia or similar certification/license recognized by the Virginia Board of Professional Counselors is required within two (2) years of signing job description.
The Counselor is responsible for:
Facilitating group programming and meetings, individual counseling sessions, case management services, and clinical documentation.
Conducting comprehensive assessments and individual treatment plans within established timeframes.
Participating in multi-disciplinary treatment planning, case reviews, and conferences.
Working closely with the Virginia Department of Corrections personnel to ensure quality delivery of services and promote a healing environment where people with substance use disorders can learn to live in recovery as returning citizens.
Salary : $55,000 - $60,000
