Location: MCI Framingham Framingham, MA  

Pay Rate: $24.00/hour

Schedule: Monday- Friday, 40 hours (8-hour shifts)

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Medical Assistant Certificate required
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Must have phlebotomy certificate

 

The Medical Assistant aids nursing and medical staff, providing administrative assistance and assessment support as directed necessary and in accordance with regulatory compliance.

 

The Medical Assistant is responsible for:      

• Conducting assessments for patients referred to treatment and/or enrolled in services including triage, COWS, vitals,
• Scheduling and preparing documentation for all admission physical assessments, annual physical assessments and follow up appointments with the medical provider.
• Data entering all medication lists into the electronic health record for medication reconciliation purposes and as directed.
• Submitting and processing all medical records requests.
• Conducting toxicology screening in accordance with the program policy/procedure and regulatory frequency guidelines.
• Phlebotomy
