Job SummaryResponsible for collecting money, making change and utilizing the cash register appropriately. Maintains a clean and orderly work area according to standards.Essential Functions
- Sets up cash register station according to standard and maintains clean work area.
- Collects payments, makes change and operates the cash register and cash handling equipment in an accurate and professional manner.
- Stocks sales floor and performs support functions as designated per standard.
- Counts, balances drawer, records totals, and deposits money to appropriate location, in an accurate manner as directed by management.
- Provides excellent customer service.
- Performs general sanitation responsibilities as assigned.
- Drives towards meeting or exceeding sales goals.
- Addresses customer experience and problem solves in a professional manner.
Qualifications
- Required High School Diploma or equivalent
- 6 months of relevant experience retail cashiering Preferred
