Scope of work
Collaborates with the entire health care team, as appropriate, and uses assessment skills to obtain information regarding the patients actual or potential status. Uses their knowledge and skills as delegated by the provider to work together to prevent when possible, and mitigate, when necessary, already present physiological complications associated with specific health problems and / or medical treatment.
Qualifications
- Graduate of approved paramedic program
- Skills, knowledge, abilities typically gained through less than 2 years of experience as a paramedic, 3 years or more preferred
- Successful completion of competency-based orientation program
- Paramedic, Licensed (PARAMEDIC) State of Michigan Paramedic Required upon hire
- Basic Life Support (BLS) 90 Days Required
