Position Overview: Are you passionate about dental care and eager to serve those who serve our country? Spectrum Healthcare Resources is seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our team at Naval Station Great Lakes in Illinois. Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for dental procedures and maintain proper infection control measures
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care
- Maintain accurate patient records and assist with administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited dental assistant program
- Certification as a Dental Assistant preferred
- Prior experience in a dental office or healthcare setting preferred
