Job Summary: We are seeking a dental assistant with security clearance to join our team at Camp Pendleton. As a member of our dental team, you will play a crucial role in providing top-quality patient care and supporting our mission to deliver exceptional healthcare services.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with various dental procedures, including restorative, prosthodontic, and oral surgical procedures
- Prepare patients for treatment and record medical history
- Sterilize instruments, maintain equipment, and ensure a clean work environment
- Take and process dental X-rays
- Educate patients on post-treatment care and oral hygiene
Requirements: A completion of an accredited dental assistant program or relevant training (CODA, Military, Red Cross, etc.) is required. A minimum of 6 months of hands-on experience is also necessary. Additionally, radiography certification and strong organizational and patient-care skills are essential.
