Job Description
Spectrum Healthcare Resources has an excellent opportunity for a Full-Time LPN-Immunization Nurse at Ft Belvoir's Health Center in Dumfries, Virginia.
Position Highlights:
- Monday-Friday: 11:30AM-8PM
- No weekend, holiday, or on-call requirements
- Outpatient environment where the focus is on patient care
- Employee status with a full complement of benefits
- Opportunity to provide care to our Nation's active and retired military personnel
Responsibilities:
- Help run the immunization clinic that is attached to the family practice clinic
- Obtain patient history and pertinent family history and provide education regarding prescribed immunizations
- Prepare patients for immunizations
- Recognize emergency situations and initiate appropriate resuscitative measures
Requirements:
- U.S. Citizen
- Completion of an accredited Licensed Practical / Vocational Nursing Program
- Active state LPN/LVN license
- At least 2 years of recent clinical experience
- Current BLS certification
