Job Description
Spectrum Healthcare Resources has a potential opportunity for a Certified Medical Assistant to provide services for the State of Kansas. This potential position is a temporary opening to help with coverage for open vacancies as they occur. Hours of coverage will be defined by the agency, but may be required for all shifts, seven days a week.
Details:
- Provides direct, basic care and supervision to patients and residents at public intermediate care facilities orother treatment facilities, providing supervision, security, monitoring for safety and assisting to meet needsof daily living.
- Passes medication as ordered by physician to residents under supervision of licensednursing staff. Also performs location checks, both observing and monitoring.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalency is preferred.
- A Certified Nurse Aide certification and a CertifiedMedication Aide certification from the state of Kansas is required.
- Additional training and certification required by the hospital or treatment facility prior toassignment working in patient care and such certification must thereafter be maintained withoutinterruption during the agreed assignment with the hospital or facility.
