Responsibilities:
Under professional supervision, the Intensive Care Manager coordinates treatment activity, participates in client staffing, implements treatment plans, provides rehabilitation services, provides general health care management activities and maintains client records.
As healthcare reform advances and health homes become the norm, behavioral health Care Managers are required to expand their capacity in healthcare navigation, build on existing skills in behavior health change and gain a better understanding of the common health problems and basic interventions for individuals with mental illness and those with chronic health problems.
Qualifications:
Required:
Bachelor's degree AND minimum two years recent experience working with children
OR
High School diploma or equivalent AND any combination of behavioral health education, training and experience totaling four years
