Assistant Golf Coach – Spectrum High School

Spectrum High School is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Assistant Golf Coach to join our athletic team. This position will work closely with the head coach to help organize and develop the golf program for both varsity and lower-level teams. The assistant coach will be responsible for leading lower-level teams, teaching golf skills, organizing practices, supervising players, and preparing student-athletes for competition.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop lower-level golf teams, including skill-building and competition preparation
• Assist the head coach in developing and implementing practice plans for all teams
• Teach golf techniques, skills, and strategies to players of varying skill levels
• Supervise players during practices and competitions
• Provide support in preparing athletes for meets and tournaments
• Ensure athletes are adhering to team rules and maintaining sportsmanship
• Assist in organizing and managing team logistics

Qualifications:

• Strong background in golf and demonstrated coaching ability
• Ability to work with and lead lower-level teams effectively
• Must maintain certification with the Minnesota State High School League (MSHSL)
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Passion for mentoring and developing student-athletes
