What are the responsibilities and job description for the Caregiver position at Spectrum Home Care?
We are looking for additional caring and reliablea caregivers to join our team!!
We currently have Part-time, 12hr weekend shifts available from 8a-8p or overnights 8p-8a. (*Staff are able to sleep when the client sleeps on the overnight shift).
As an in-home caregiver, you would be responsible for providing excellent care, assisting with activities of daily living and supporting our clients to maintain confidence and independence in their home.
Duties may include but are not limited to:
- Assist in client's safety.
- Companionship
- Assist with personal cares (bathing, toileting, etc.)
- Vitals
- General light housekeeping - keep client's home and common areas clean and maintained. Vacuum, sweep and mop floors, clean the bathroom, clean up spills, collect and dispose of trash.
- Meal preparation
- Wash, dry, fold and put away laundry.
- Advising management of needed supplies, repairs, etc.
- Staying up to date with nutrition and hygiene
- Report any concerns and/or changes to management.
All applicants must be 18 years old, have reliable transportation, current insurance and submit to a background check.
CNA is not required but is helpful. A wage increase may be available to those who have acquired their CNA certification.
