About the Role
Spectrum Justice Services seeks dedicated candidates to add to its security services team. This position serves as a member of the security and safety operations for a highly secure detention facility for young men and youth between the ages of 12 and 20.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to, monitoring youth activity, staff access and safety, program intake, and daily program operations. The Security Transporter monitors authorized and unauthorized visitors, youth activities in outdoor recreational areas, building fire safety, and youth travel and transportation. The Security Transporter responds to all crises within and outside the facility grounds.

Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Valid and unrestricted Michigan driver’s license.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Must complete physical exam and tv test.
- DHHS Central Registry clearance.
- Criminal background clearance.
- National sex offender registry clearance.
Job Characteristics
- Full-time and Part-time
- Afternoons, nights, and weekend schedules are available.
- Must complete background in medical clearance, including drug screening,
- located in Highland Park, MI.
