Our vision is for Spectrum Child & Family Services to be the leader in the community known for exemplary programming that protects, advocates, treats, and educates the youth we serve. Spectrum Child and Family Services is looking for a Youth Worker for our program located in SUMPTER TOWNSHIP to supervise and provide basic care, security, safety, and welfare to our residents who are a part of our Youth Residential Program. As the youth worker, you will provide supervision and direction to residents as they perform their daily living activities while encouraging and supporting the development of good interpersonal skills and relationships.
The Youth Worker is an entry-level social services position primarily supervising youth in a residential or group setting.
Are you a role model? We are looking for a role model with at least one year of experience in Child Welfare Services, and residential child-caring institution experience is a plus. Here are our other qualifications:
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma/ G.E.D or equivalent
- Valid and unrestricted State of Michigan Driver's License with a good driving record
- Reliable transportation
- One year of related experience is preferred.
- Must successfully complete all required background clearances.
