Conveniently located in the heart of downtown Grand Rapids, we are on the bus line. We are currently seeking DIRECT HIRE 1 Forklift Operators for our 1st Shift (8:00am - 4:30pm)
Primary Duties:
- Complete the daily hi-lo checklist at the beginning of each shift
- Maintain FIFO (first in first out)
- Keep product flowing to and from shipping and receiving
- Load and unload trucks
- Read and understand tickets
- Maintain lot traceability as required
Secondary Duties:
- Maintain storage areas
- Transfer parts from original containers to loading carts
- Assist other Hi-lo Drivers
- Other duties as required
Equipment Used:
- Sit Down Propane Forklift
- Part transferor
Education/Experience: Minimum 1 Year driving sit down propane forklift in fast pace production setting.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
