Description
Spectrum Industries, Inc. is looking for a new team member to repair, upkeep, and renovation of industrial equipment, machinery, and facilities in order to keep production facilities updated, and equipment running safely and efficiently.
- Performs routine preventive maintenance to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly, building systems operate efficiently, and the physical condition of building does not deteriorate
- Repairs/ replaces defective equipment parts using hand/ power tools and reassemble equipment
- Inspects drives, motors, and belts, checks fluid levels, replaces filters, and performs other maintenance actions by following checklists
- Diagnoses mechanical problems and determines how to correct them by checking blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs as necessary
- Uses tools ranging from common hand and power tools (hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches) to precision measuring instruments and electrical/ electronic testing devices
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Associate’s degree or equivalent technical school training
- Three to five years of related work experience
- OR equivalent combination of education and experience
- Valid driver’s license and proof of insurability to drive company vehicle
