Conveniently located in the heart of downtown Grand Rapids, we are on the bus line. We are currently seeking to DIRECT HIRE a Maintenance Technician for our 1st Shift.
Who are You?
You have a passion for working with your hands and troubleshooting mechanical components. You are seeking a first shift job working 7:00am - 3:30pm, Monday thru Friday with some overtime. The starting pay for this position is $20.00. Experienced Maintenance Technicians from a manufacturing setting pay will depend on experience.
You'll collaborate with an upbeat, hard-working, and diverse team to keep our plant running smoothly and continuously improve our machinery and maintenance department. This role offers the opportunity to gain valuable experience and work on exciting projects that enhance your skills and career growth.
What will I be doing?
- Complete the daily hi-lo checklist at the beginning of each shift
- Maintain FIFO (first in first out)
- Keep product flowing to and from shipping and receiving
- Load and unload trucks
- Read and understand tickets
- Maintain lot traceability as required
- Maintain storage areas
- Transfer parts from original containers to loading carts
- Assist other Hi-lo Drivers
- Other duties as required
What kid of equipment will I be using?
- Sit Down Propane Forklift
- Part transferor
What requirements do I need?
- Minimum high school diploma or GED.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
