The Reading Group has an exciting opportunity for an Operations Specialist to join our family-owned holding company. With a history of long-standing stability in our niche market, we seek to grow the sales and supply of current product lines while building capacity to meet new market opportunities. As the Operations Specialist, you will perform various activities related to contract manufacturing, fulfilment, and logistics. You need to prioritize, be decisive, and possess superb communication skills. Assist with inventory management, including the movement, storage, and processing of production components and parts. Be a highly motivated individual that thrives in a small business environment. Your ability to quickly assimilate knowledge in new subject areas is also critical.
Specifically, The Operations Specialist will :
- Coordinate the production of existing product lines.
- Maintain product inventory, production schedules, and delivery timelines.
- Perform activities relating to strategic or tactical purchasing, material requirements planning, and inventory control.
- Coordinate with the Operations Manager, Warehouse and Shipping Team.
- Work with shipping and warehousing vendors and oversee logistics activities.
- Participate in product development initiatives.

Wages are negotiable within the competitive salary range set by The Reading Group. The ranges have been established based on organization, industry, and national standards. Desired salary expectations will be discussed during the interview process.
