Spectrum Logistics is a locally owned company seeking a Warehouse Worker / Forklift Operator who is responsible for maintaining the warehouse facility, loading/unloading trucks of products within the warehouse and general warehouse duties.
First Shift position at our Princeton, Indiana location
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse.
- Receive, inspect, and process incoming shipments, verifying the accuracy of orders and ensuring they are free from damage.
- Prepare or pre-stage orders for shipment according to customer specifications as well as pulling samples and return orders.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular inventory counts.
- Ensure all products are stored in the correct locations and organized in a manner that optimizes space and accessibility.
- Adhere to safety protocols and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse.
- Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure efficient workflow and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure paperwork and shipments are accurate.
- Various other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3 years experience as a forklift operator.
- Proven experience as a forklift operator and warehouse worker.
- Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) as required.
- Above average computer skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
