What are the responsibilities and job description for the Account Coordinator position at Spectrum Marketing Companies?
The Spectrum Marketing Companies are looking to immediately add additional members to our growing account support team and seek multiple Account Coordinators within our Client Services department. Spectrums environment is fast paced and requires the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities. Spectrums extensive client base is distributed across the country and relies on the organization to provide highly impactful and relevant marketing communications that drive results and includes; creative services, direct mail, omni-channel marketing, sophisticated data preparation, internal print production, logistics, campaign analytics and large format graphic production and installation. The Account Coordinator position is a dynamic position for those looking to start or continue a career in marketing services.
Job Functions
Works with, and supports, Sales & Marketing Representatives/Account Managers and their clients to bring design, service implementation and production efforts to final fruition
Interacts with multiple departments within our company (creative services, data & digital services, production, accounting) to facilitate client work
Maintenance campaign and production schedules for open jobs either independently or in coordination with team members
Order entry for client orders and campaign components involving direct mail, omni-channel marketing services, print and signs
Proofing creative, data, production tickets and other source documents for accuracy and missing information
Facilitating delivery of samples to Sales & Marketing Representatives/Account Managers and clients
Process web-to-print orders for standardized products ordered through client online web portals
Other related tasks as may be assigned
Required Skills
Candidates should be very detail orientated, creative thinkers, adept at problem solving, with a capacity and willingness to learn and grow their skills through involvement in our multi-faceted business
Experience in marketing, advertising, printing or direct mail preferred
Experience and a general comfort level with order entry systems a plus but not required
Excellent client service skills and sensibilities
Excellent organizational skills; multitasking is essential
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications particularly Excel
Strong, outgoing and positive communication skills with the ability to interact with sales, creative services, production, management and clients
High level of energy, integrity, commitment
The ability to work as a team or independently
Discipline to manage and prioritize a high volume of steady work
Ability to learn the evolving principles of marketing that are relevant to the services we provide our clients
Physical Requirements
Significant periods of sitting at desk
Significant periods of screen time
Fine motor skills for keyboarding, manipulating art work, copy, orders and other forms
Oral communication in English (other language may be a plus)
Ability to occasionally lift up to 15 pounds
