What are the responsibilities and job description for the Med-Legal Biller position at Spectrum Medical Evaluators?
We are seeking an attentive, detail-oriented individual who will be responsible for sending and tracking billing for our company.
Our company, Spectrum Medical Evaluators, is a new and rapidly growing company which offers a range of support services to physicians to help them grow and manage their QME practices. As a biller, you would be responsible for:
- completing & submitting bills in a timely fashion
- ensuring bills are received by insurance companies
- tracking payments and providing reports on bill status
- communicating with insurance companies to resolve any issues
Ideal candidates will have reliable transportation, ,ability to multi-task while on hold, knowledge of Google and Microsoft office software, basic computer skills, and a professional and courteous demeanor.
Preferred but not required:
- Experience billing, especially med-legal/QME billing
- Education, especially in communication, writing, business or marketing
- Knowledge regarding the workers' compensation industry
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
