With over 40 years of industry experience, we have completed more than 1,000 installations and currently serve over 800 imaging centers and healthcare facilities nationwide. As part of our continued growth, we are seeking a motivated Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in Santa Monica, CA.
Position Summary:
The Accounts Receivable Specialist will be responsible for managing all aspects of the accounts receivable process, including accurate invoicing, monitoring outstanding balances, reconciling accounts, and following up with customers. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with both internal teams and external clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and send timely and accurate customer invoices
- Monitor aging reports and follow up on overdue accounts
- Communicate with customers to resolve payment issues or discrepancies
- Maintain accurate and organized AR records and customer account information
- Post and apply incoming payments and reconcile account variances
- Generate AR reports for management and support month-end close processes
- Collaborate with sales, operations, and customer service teams to address client inquiries
- Ensure adherence to internal accounting policies and procedures
- Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and cash flow
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience in accounts receivable or a related accounting function
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accounting systems (Sage 100 or NetSuite preferred)
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and organizational skills
- Familiarity with GAAP and general accounting practices
