Spectrum of Solutions is searching for part-time, compassionate Vocational Coordinator to join our highly respected team in the Permian Basin (Midland and Odessa) area. In this position you will play an essential role in contributing to the organization’s mission by assisting individuals served in various aspects of their education or career development while ensuring their safety and providing emotional support.
Responsibilities:
- Develops and oversees a full range of vocational services
- Ensures complaint programs in accordance with applicable regulations, established policies and procedures, and required protocols for clients with intellectual disabilities
- Coordinates program staff scheduling and transportation for clients as needed
- Collaborates with case managers, client care team, and other internal team members to advocate for services with vocational opportunities
- Transitions consumers to appropriate level of care upon conclusion of treatment
Qualifications and Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Several years of experience in special education or vocational training
- Must be able to work onsite (not a remote role)
- Valid Texas driver's license and related insurance
- Must pass a background check and drug screen
