What are the responsibilities and job description for the IT Support Specialist - Tier 1 Help Desk - Tulsa OK - Corporate office position at Spectrum Paint?
Technology plays a vital role in connecting Spectrum Paint to its employees and customers. The IT Support Specialist will work directly with our internal customers to troubleshoot various IT problems, questions, and challenges as well as work to implement solutions at the direction of IT management.
Position is Mon - Fri, 8 am to 5 pm. Benefits package eligible. Full Time.
Job Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot issues that arise at our 110 locations and with other staff
- Facility delivery of our core services with knowledge of and ability to work with: Microsoft Office and POS Systems
- Configure User Devices – desktops, laptops, cell phones, etc.
- Installation and troubleshooting of computer hardware, software, and operating systems
- Provide technical assistance to employees with desktop and other application questions and problems to maximize productivity.
- Support follow-up and re-assessment of implemented solutions
- Handle other system administration tasks and/or special projects as assigned.
- Potential travel to stores as needed for network repair, and new store setups.
- Clerical and Administrative duties as needed.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- 2 years of work experience in a Tier I position or applicable field or comparable education.
- Customer service-oriented can-do approach to work.
- MS Office expertise
- Familiarity with applications and databases hosted on internal networks or proprietary cloud.
- Background in dealing with a POS system is a plus.
- Ability to think strategically.
- Clear in conveying ideas and communicating.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Highly organized.
- Ability to keep various IT documents properly filed and updated.
- Ability to occasionally carry, relocate, and or lift cartons and containers.
- Ability to work a regular schedule in an open office environment.
- Commitment to ethical behavior and willingness to adhere to company policies.
- Capable of passing a background check.
