As we continue to expand our impact and offerings, we are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Pharmaceutical Sales to lead and drive our sales operations at the wholesale level.


Position Overview:

The Director of Pharmaceutical Sales will be responsible for overseeing and executing strategic sales initiatives, managing a high-performing sales team, and driving revenue growth within the wholesale pharmaceutical sector. This role also requires the Director to personally engage in direct sales activities, including making calls to clients, developing relationships, and securing new business. This is a hands-on leadership role that combines strategy, team management, and personal sales outreach.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and market expansion in the pharmaceutical wholesale sector.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales managers and representatives.
  • Personally engage with clients, make outbound sales calls, and close deals to secure new business.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key customers, suppliers, and business partners.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to optimize sales approaches.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, and supply chain, to ensure seamless delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare and present sales forecasts, performance reports, and strategic plans to senior leadership.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies while driving sales growth.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience (8 years) in pharmaceutical sales at the wholesale level, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Demonstrated ability to make outbound sales calls and close deals while managing a team.
  • Strong knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry, including distribution networks, regulations, and market dynamics.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and market trends to drive strategic decisions.
  • Results-oriented with a track record of achieving sales goals and managing high-performing teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, life sciences, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).

Inside Pharmaceutical Sales Representative

 

We are looking for highly motivated, business driven sales professionals to help take our organization to the next level. As an Inside Sales Rep you will cold call, develop and maintain relationships with independent pharmacies and medical professionals within your assigned territory. This is a base pay plus uncapped commission role. Business hours are Monday – Friday. No weekends required.

This position directly reports to the Sales Manager. In addition, you will have the ability to collaborate with purchasing, compliance, finance, warehouse, and other departments of the organization with opportunities to advance in other areas of the company.


Qualification and Experience Needed:

⮚     Tele sales and/or pharmaceutical experience preferred.

⮚     Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, comfortable with dealing with rejection and willing to overcome objections.

⮚     Excellent oral and written communication skills.

⮚     Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, with concentration on Microsoft Excel.

⮚     Ability to multitask.

⮚     Knowledge of pharmacy and/or wholesaler regulation or willing to learn.

⮚     Attention to detail and good organizational skills.

⮚     Strong problem solving and analytical skills.

⮚     Self-starter and ability to work independently.

⮚     Positive attitude and strong work ethic.

⮚     Ability to effectively work in a team environment, maintaining group morale and mutual respect.

⮚     Ability to influence, negotiate and gain commitment at all organization levels.
