Description
The Medical tubing packer will be responsible for ensuring that medical tubing products are packaged according to strict quality and safety standards. This is a meticulous and detail-oriented position that is critical in maintaining the integrity and sterility of our medical products.
Key Functions:
- Safety: Work safely, following all safety policies and proactively enforcing and participating in the safe work of others. Be a leading example of adherence to all internal safety procedures and policies to keep a clean and organized manufacturing environment.
- Packaging: Carefully package medical tubing products in compliance with ISO 7 cleanroom standards and company protocols.
- Inspection: Conduct visual inspections of products to ensure they meet quality specifications before packaging.
- Documentation: Accurately complete all required documentation and labeling for packaged products.
- Cleanroom Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to cleanroom protocols to prevent contamination.
- Quality control: Collaborate with the quality control team to identify and report and defects or issues with products.
- Inventory Management: Assist in managing inventory levels of packaging materials and report and shortages to the supervisor.
- Compliance: Follow all Safety and regulatory guidelines, including proper use of personal protective equipment. (PPE)
Qualifications
Candidate Requirements:
- Detail-oriented to prevent product comingling and for defect detection
- English/ Spanish language is desired
- Ability to use computer equipment, MS Office and work in an ERP system.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift to 75 lbs. consistently and higher occasionally.
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Manual dexterity to handle small components
- Capable of working on 12-hour shifts, some weekends.
- Basic math skills to complete calculation and measurement of product.
- Intermediate computer skills to input data / interface with Material Management Systems.
