Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Maintain employee files such as personnel files, benefit files, and staffing/recruiting files
- Maintain job application database. Oversee advertisements and recruiter involvement as needed
- Maintain department files in accordance with the Company retention policy/guidelines
- Provides guidance, distributes workload, and makes new/revised assignments to best meet the needs of Team Spectrum
- Provide support to staff in various topics and help resolve issues
- Analyze and improve existing processes and workflow
- Processes HR paperwork including applications, new hire paperwork, pay changes, data changes, terminations, and other confidential employee information
- Manage the recruiting and pre-employment efforts for assigned client groups by reviewing resumes, conducting phone screens, scheduling interviews, creating offer letters, initiating drug/background checks, and creating new hire packets
- Assist in conducting and the administration of the New Employee Orientation program for all New Hires and provide support for the full on-boarding cycle
- Manage company ID Badge system/set-up
- Assists in exit interview process
- Assists in organizational training and development efforts
- Maintains compliance database and ensures required training and other activities occur on schedule
- Ensures compliance with required postings at all locations
- Assists the management investigating and resolving employee relations issues and complaints.
- Develop and sustain a level of professionalism among Team Members, customers, vendors, etc.
- Compiles departmental reports and maintains as needed
- Perform tasks and other administrative projects as assigned
- Drive the development, adherence, and effectiveness of the onboarding plan for team
- Development of company culture and core values
- Collaborate with Leadership on team member performance
- Uphold a strict level of confidentiality
- Participate in Plant Meetings
- Engage in facility celebrations
- Participate and drive participation in wellness activities
- Challenge status quo across organization
- Ensures Spectrums culture is instilled in all facets of the facility
- Active participation in weekly Spectrum Preferred Meats Leadership meeting
- Active participation in the development of company initiatives and objectives
- Five plus years related experience with proven office administration and customer service skills required
- Solid working knowledge of office processes and business policy development, and of related computer software and electronic communications tools
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills specifically excel, power point and word
- Problem solving skills are necessary
- Ability to work across teams and with a variety of projects and constituencies
- Must be able to work with all levels of team
