Location: Salt Lake City, UT (hybrid)

Reports to: C&IS Manager

Compensation: $120 - $140K

We’re a long-established and privately held EPCm firm specializing in industrial projects across a variety of exciting and growing industries. We provide integrated engineering solutions to enhance client profitability. We have a strong focus on innovation, efficiency, and delivering projects on time and within budget.

Your Role:

Your role plays a critical role in designing and implementing advanced controls systems that drive industrial efficiency and safety for our clients. You will develop instrumentation strategies, oversee DCS and PLC system integration, and ensure seamless project execution from concept to startup. By optimizing automation reliability, you will deliver high-performing, cost-effective solutions that meet our clients’ needs and drive their industries forward.

What You’ll Do:

• Define and document project scope
• Manage project costs, deliverables, and changes
• Ensure client expectations and success criteria are met
• Build strong relationships and serve customer needs
• Oversee engineering, design, and execution processes
• Enhance operational reliability and efficiency
• Travel to customer sites up to 20% to support projects

What You’ll Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or related engineering field
• 7 years of instrumentation and controls engineering experience
• 3 years of project engineering/project management – EPC experience is highly preferred
• Expertise in I&C design, including DCS and PLC systems
• Allen-Bradley and AutoCAD experience
• Proven ability to manage projects within budget and timeline
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
