Key Responsibilities:
- Reports to the Engineering Manager
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
Experience:
- At least 7 years of experience working as an Electrical Engineer
- Prior experience in an industrial, chemical, or manufacturing environment is highly desirable
Expertise:
- Electrical systems
- Power distribution
- Control systems (PLC, DCS)
- Instrumentation
Skills:
- Proficient in electrical design software (AutoCAD preferred)
- Able to read and understand drawings, blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
Regulatory Compliance:
- Solid understanding of OSHA, NFPA, and NEC standards
Project Management:
- Leading and contributing to capital projects including planning, design, procurement, and installation
Maintenance and Troubleshooting:
- Maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment with the ability to diagnose, resolve, and ensure proper operation
Medium Voltage Experience:
- A must-have for working with transformers, substations, and power distribution systems
High Voltage Experience:
