About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Plant Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of our machinery and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure Columbia machinery equipment is operating properly and make necessary repairs.
- Diagnose and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and industrial electrical systems.
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Maintain and optimize performance in an industrial/manufacturing environment.
- B uild strong relationships with equipment manufacturers to maximize efficiency.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of heavy electrical systems, hydraulics, and welding.
- Mechanical expertise in maintaining and repairing large industrial equipment.
- Previous experience in the concrete or masonry industry.
- Hands-on experience with PLCs and diagnostics (preferred).
- Leadership skills and the ability to train junior mechanics.
