Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in operating various types of heavy equipment, (shear, excavator, etc.) ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and safely. This role requires a strong understanding of equipment operation, maintenance, and safety protocols. The Equipment Operator will play a crucial role in our operations, contributing to the success of our projects through effective machinery management. **DRUG SCREENING REQUIRED**
Duties
- Operate heavy equipment including Shears and Cranes.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Follow safety protocols and regulations while operating machinery to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate work activities and ensure project timelines are met.
- Maintain equipment usage and report any issues or repairs needed.
Experience
- Proven experience, 3 years minimum, with heavy equipment operation is essential.
- Familiarity with Caterpillar, Volvo and John Deere machinery and other heavy equipment brands is preferred.
- Experience with backhoe operation and bulldozing tasks is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
