GEM / GSA Specialists manage the guest experience from booking to departure by anticipating needs and paying special attention to details. Responsibilities include assisting guests with local area attractions, special requests, deliveries, follow up, and ensuring overall customer satisfaction. Specialist will also assist the front desk operations and coordinate within and between departments in order to achieve goals, providing prompt and courteous customer service to all guests and team members. Position requires delivering arrival packets and staging each unit for arrivals.
- Contact guests directly to confirm arrival, assist with itineraries and reservations and other special requests.
- Inspect pre-arrival units to insure perfection in cleanliness and display of amenities.
- Stage arrival units per standard.
- Assist at Front Desk to include checking guests in / out, making packets and assisting with problem resolution
- Assist with communication between departments to insure guest satisfaction
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Must have above average computer skills with Microsoft Office programs knowledge and the ability to learn property-specific systems.
- Must be self-motivated with ability to work alone and in a team environment
- Must have excellent guest service and problem resolution skills.
- Must possess a valid driver license and acceptable driving record.
- Prior Front Desk experience a plus!
- Must be able to stand / walk for entire shift
- Must be able to bend, kneel, and stoop
- Must be able to move / lift up to 25 lbs.
