The Beach Club Linen Supervisor
The Linen Supervisor plans, organizes and supervises all linen activities while enforcing policies and procedures. This is a working hands-on supervisory position.
The Linen Supervisor is trained in a variety of areas so that he/she may assist all other Housekeeping team members including housekeepers, inspectors, floor care specialists, etc.
Major Job Tasks:
- Supervise Linen Room staff
- E nsure linen is rolled and ready for the Housekeepers
- Distribute supplies to Housekeepers
- Be prepared to accept and approve deliveries
- Maintain inventory pars and take monthly inventories
- Assist in pick up of dirty linen as needed
- Separate dirty linen and prepare for pick up
- Keep Linen Room organized, neat and clean
- Assist other housekeepers and inspectors as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
Required Skills:
- Must possess excellent teamwork and customer service skills
- Must possess excellent oral/written skills
- Must possess a valid driver license and an acceptable driving record
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced work environment
- Must be energetic and self-motivated
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand/walk during entire shift
- Ability to reach, stoop, and kneel
- Must have sufficient strength and the ability to independently and repeatedly lift, move and carry objects up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to carry objects weighing more than 50 pounds with assistance
- Must be able to work in/out of hot, inclement weather conditions as needed
