This position will provide you with the exciting opportunity to work in a hybrid centralized Treasury environment that covers Spectrum Safety Solutions global activities. The role is expected to contribute materially to the group’s cash optimization objectives. You will support our regional liquidity activities using treasury management systems and banking tools to determine daily cash position. You will partner with the Corporate Treasurer and create the vision, strategy and standards by which the Treasury function provides leadership and value to the organization. This role will have daily interactions with all our worldwide subsidiaries and business leaders. This position will report to the Corporate Treasurer and will be based in Stamford, CT. This position will work in a hybrid setting of remote and onsite at our Stamford office.
Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Report daily cash, identify cash position and liquidity requirements to meet business operational needs
- Responsible for the preparation of the weekly global cash forecast; work with all businesses to identify and analyze material variances with actuals
- Leverage existing banking relationships and administer all online banking platforms for domestic and foreign bank accounts
- Manage banking documentation requirements for new and existing accounts and evaluate banking services
- Provide assistance in implementing cash concentration initiatives for cash management optimization
- Execute various funds transfers, capital injections, dividends, and intercompany loan requests
- Review and drive improvements in cash management, ensuring financial obligations are met in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Assist businesses with Standby letters of credit and bank guarantee execution
- Assist the Corporate Treasurer in managing FX risk
- Prepare and analyze currency exposure and forecast
- Support the execution of FX spot trades and hedging activity with counterparties
- Develop, maintain and improve treasury policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls
- Identify Treasury opportunities where enhanced productivity would translate into material reduction in inefficiencies
- Collaborate effectively with internal business partners including Controllership, FP&A, Tax, Legal and the various global commercial teams
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or related area, MBA preferred
- 5 years of experience in Treasury operations and executions with strong background in finance and/or accounting
Preferred Qualifications:
- CTP, CPA, CFA (a plus)
- Prior banking experience is an advantage
- Experience with US and International banking portals
- Experience in the use of FX trading systems (a plus)
- Solid analytical ability with advanced modeling skills
- Strong organizational skills, flexibility, and ability to meet deadlines
- Excellent communication skills in dealing with internal and external business partners
- Strong PC skills including advanced knowledge of Excel
- Knowledge of Power Query and Power BI (a plus)
- Detail oriented with attention to quality / accuracy
- A desire to learn and develop into the role
*This position will be a Hybrid role working both remotely and at the Stamford, Connecticut office (minimum of 2-3 days a week onsite)
Salary : $110,000 - $130,000
