Onsite Electronic Security Systems (ESS) Technician/Site Safety Officer
MUST LIVE IN OR WITHIN DRIVING DISTANCE OF FORT BELVOIR, VIRGINIA!!!
MUST BE Manufacturer certified in Software House CCURE 9000, Milestone VMS, Avigilon cameras and trained in network configuration, IP schemes and programming.
5-10 Years experience in troubleshooting, installation and programming of Access Control Systems (ACS), IP Based CCTV systems (CCTV), Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), and IP Based intercom systems. Installation includes pulling both cooper and fiber optic cabling, termination of cooper and fiber optic cabling, mounting control panels, wiring control panels, installing network switches to included connecting patch cords to servers. Performing quarterly preventive maintenance inspections (PMI’s) per provide test procedures utilizing provided excel spreadsheets for inspection verification per device. Perform standard and emergency service calls (corrective maintenance) to diagnose and resolve issues, complete service request paperwork as required documentation of completion.
SSHO: MUST have 5 years of safety supervisory experience and preferably OSHA 30 certification. SSHO conducts daily safety meetings, ensures adherence to Accident Prevention Plans (APP’s), adjusts the APP as needed to cover work to be performed based on Accident Hazard Analysis (AHA’s) in coordination with the Safety Director for continuous improvement of safety procedures. SSHO will complete daily and weekly safety reports to include visitor safety briefings and track on site exposure hours which will be reported monthly.
Position Details & Responsibilities:
• Standard and Emergency service call response on site
• Preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and testing of ACS, CCTV, IDS, and intercom IP based systems
• Installation, programming, configuration and testing of ACS, CCTV, IDS, and intercom IP based systems
• Completion of all closeout documentation for each Preventative Maintenance Inspection, Service Call, and equipment installation
• Ensure timeliness of installation or service call and adherence to design drawings, manufactures specifications and customer expectations
• Ensure adherence to SSI company procedures, SSI safety policy, along with State, Federal and OSHA regulations
Here is what we are looking for:
• Pass background checks, periodic drug testing, MVR screenings, and Valid driver’s license
• 5-10 Years experience in troubleshooting, installation and programming of Access Control Systems (ACS), IP Based CCTV systems (CCTV), Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), and IP Based intercom systems.
• 5 years of safety supervisory experience and preferably OSHA 30 certification.
• Certifications Required: Software House CCURE 9000, Milestone VMS, Avigilon
• Certification Preferred (must be able to obtain): Security , ATOPSEC, OSHA 30
• Proficient knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC), local codes or regulations, and construction safety requirements
• Troubleshooting, installation and preventative maintenance of ACS, CCTV, IDS, and intercom IP based systems
• Must be experienced with Microsoft Office Suite, and knowledgeable in O365 and Teams
• Ability to work autonomously with attention to detail and problem resolution skills
• On site SSI representative interacting with customers and SSI off site employees providing service and product support.
