Spectrum Staffing Group is actively recruiting a Benefits Analyst role for a company in Garland. This position will be responsible for employee communication, explaining eligibility and managing and reconciling benefits on an ongoing basis. This role will start as contract and may be evaluated for a full-time role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary contact for employees on benefits inquiries, including plan provisions, enrollment, status changes, and general questions.
- Provide customer service support to internal teams, third-party administrators, and benefit carriers.
- Assist with administering workers' compensation, process life event changes, and respond to ergonomic requests.
- Ensure accuracy of benefits enrollments and eligibility information within the HRIS (Dayforce).
- Support the HR and payroll teams by conducting quality checks and updating employee payroll and benefits records.
- Assist in ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local benefits regulations and assist with required reporting.
- Review vendor reconciliation and ensure proper chargebacks and funding are aligned with the correct areas.
- Help develop and distribute communication materials to increase employees’ understanding of available benefits.
- Collaborate with HR leadership to support benefits programs and identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
- 2-4 years of experience in benefits administration or a related field.
- Experience with US and Canadian benefits preferred.
- Experience with HRIS systems (Dayforce/Ceridian a plus, but not required).
- Strong understanding of benefits enrollment, eligibility, and life events.
- Knowledge of benefits regulations, such as ERISA, COBRA, and ACA, is helpful.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and HRMS systems.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle multiple tasks.
- Good communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with others.
