Spectrum Staffing Group is partnering with a full-service real estate acquisition company to hire a Maintenance Tech for a portfolio of single-family homes in Houston, focusing on Cypress, Spring, and Humble areas.
Role Details :
100% fieldwork
Direct Hire with excellent benefits and competitive salary
1,000 / month car allowance
Must have reliable transportation (truck or van) and your own tools
Responsibilities :
HVAC, plumbing, electrical repairs, and general handy work, including drywall repairs
Repair or replace water heaters and garage doors
A typical day involves receiving work orders, prioritizing them, planning the routes, and then driving to each home to complete the tasks
Handle straightforward repairs like changing faucets and light fixtures, as well as more complex tasks like drywall repairs and leak detection
Communicate with tenants and corporate office, mainly responding to maintenance coordinator requests
Educate residents on maintenance topics and manage tasks using CMMS like AppFolio
Requirements :
3 years of experience in HVAC, plumbing, and electrical work
Background checks and drug screenings may be required
Experience with CMMS, particularly AppFolio
Strong independent work and schedule management skills
